You will receive a confirmation email upon booking your appointment which is your responsibility to read and follow, so as to prepare your skin for optimal results. If you are pregnant or nursing, cosmetic tattooing is a contraindication. Making changes to your appointment with MORE than 48-hours notice:
Due to the limited availability of appointments, we require at least 48-hours notice of changes to your appointment. Select appointments require a non-refundable booking fee. This fee may be transferred to a new date if notice is given before the 48-hour time window closes.

Making changes to your appointment with LESS than 48-hours notice:
Changes made within this time window, will forfeit the non-refundable booking fee, if such a fee was paid. If reschedules or cancellation requests are made after 48-hours, we reserve the right to charge 50% of your scheduled service, with the exception of “touch ups” which will be charged at their full amounts ($50 per treatment area). All missed appointments are subject to be charged the full amount. In the event the card on file does not process, that charge will be due prior to booking your next appointment. Clients may make changes themselves to their appointment date/time on the booking site as long as its before the 48hr window. Changes made within the 48hr window must be made manually by contacting Browtendre staff, as the booking site automatically locks out the client from making changes to their appointment with less than 48hrs notice. This is to give our artists a stress free environment so they can focus on delivering the best care and results. If there is a pattern or repeated behavior of making changes made within the 48hr window (usually those with a pattern of less than 24hr notice), we reserve the right to end the relationship with the client. We hope it is understood that we are in the business of creating good will and collaboration, creating professional relationships with our clients to have a mutual understanding that our bookings and giving fair time to make changes, impacts everyone.

Treatment Goals:
Individual results may vary based on: skin condition (dehydrated, oily, enlarged pores, rosacea, sensitive, eczema, psoriasis, etc), skin type (oily, dry, combination, mature, etc), skin quality (thick, thin, low/high elasticity, amount of wrinkles, amount of collagen, etc), your own bone structure, previous permanent makeup, scar tissue, sun damage, medical conditions (thyroid condition, hormone imbalance, cancer treatment, chemo, medications, etc). Browtendre will assess all of the above during the consultation portion of your appointment, and explain how they will affect your results if any.

Clients with Previous Permanent Makeup:
You must have approval before booking that your brows are in a condition to be worked on for optimal results. You can text a photo to: (818)254-8546 for approval before booking an appointment. If your skin has already been worked on (permanent makeup, microblading, tattoo, etc, and not done at Browtendre), this will affect your results and may require additional sessions to complete your goal. The final cost and number of sessions is subject to additional charges if additional services and time are needed to achieve your goals. Browtendre will discuss your goals and options during the consultation portion of your appointment, in addition to any changes that come up during the appointment.

How many sessions will you need?:
Multiple sessions may be needed to achieve individual goals, some which Browtendre has no control over, but will strive to ensure the best results possible and achievable not limited to your skin type, skin condition, skin quality, your own bone structure, previous permanent makeup, scar tissue, sun damage, and medical conditions you have. The above, and how well you follow the after care protocols for the area(s) addressed, will determine your result. Inks, skin, the sun, and other conditions will affect your long term results. Fading is normal and on an individual basis. Due to the nature of skin, we do not recommend Maintenance appointments sooner than 2 years, unless there are specific cases where it is in line with our ethics.

For Saline Lightening/Removal Clients:
For clients booking Saline Removal Appointments: Number of sessions is an individual process based on how deep the ink is, how long it’s been there, how many times you received permanent makeup in the addressed area, amount of scar tissue present at time of booking, and how your individual skin reacts to the process. Botched Ink recommends to start with 3 sessions per client (booked 8-12 weeks apart). There is a 4 month period from completing your last session to being able to get them redone, this is to ensure all the layers in the skin heal correctly for optimal results. This time frame may be adjusted based on the individual. Amount of lightening needed is based on individual needs and goals which are discussed at the consultation.

Appointment arrival policies:
We work by appointment only and keep the door locked. We do not allow visitors, additional guests, or pets (only trained service animals, not emotional support animals, per the Americans with Disabilities Act as well as policies set forth by the Public Health Department of Los Angeles County, our insurance policies, and our landlord policies).  Our location is upstairs and utilizes stairs, we do not have an elevator.
